The founder story

I’m Alamin, founder of DevHush.

I started building WordPress sites in 2016, working from my apartment in Dhaka. The first few years looked like every freelance developer’s first few years: too many platforms, too many revisions, too many late nights, and clients who treated development as a commodity.

Somewhere around project number three hundred, something shifted. The clients I most enjoyed working with were not small business owners. They were agencies. Branding studios who needed someone to build while they focused on Figma. Marketing agencies who needed a developer who could ship fast and stay quiet. Consultants who needed to outsource the build without losing control of the relationship.

By 2023, almost all of my work was white-label, behind agency brands. And the same problem showed up at every one of them: they had outgrown freelancers, they could not justify a $90K senior hire, and even when the developer was good, they still needed a designer first. Two contractors, two queues, one deadline.

So we built the team that closes that gap: designers and developers under one roof, senior only, working exclusively behind agency brands. UX/UI in Figma. Builds in WordPress, Webflow, and Framer. One partner for the whole website. And because I know what a missed deadline costs an agency, we put it in writing: every request ships on its agreed date or the hours are free.

What we believe

These aren’t decoration. They’re the filters we use to make decisions when there’s a tradeoff the ones we pass to every new team member on Day 1.

Invisibility is the product.

We never break character. No DevHush emails to your client. No watermarks on deliverables. No "developed by DevHush" footer credits. No LinkedIn posts about your project. If your client never knows we exist, we did our job. The white-label promise isn't a feature, it's the foundation everything else is built on.

Senior by default.

Every project gets a developer with 5+ years of agency-grade
WordPress experience. We don't have a junior tier we route cheap
work to. Your Starter-tier client and your Business-tier client get
the same calibre of hands on the keyboard. The only difference
between tiers is *capacity*, not quality.

Predictable beats heroic.

We'd rather hit our 48-hour SLA every single time than hit a 12-hour SLA sometimes and a 5-day SLA other times. Agencies are reselling our delivery unpredictability breaks their business, not just ours. Boring, on-time delivery is the goal. If you ever feel like working with us is exciting, we're doing something wrong.

Speak in deliverables, not effort.

We never tell an agency "we worked all weekend on this" or "this
was really complex." They don't care, and their client doesn't
care. We tell you: what's done, what's next, when it ships. Effort
talk is amateur talk. Senior delivery speaks in shipped outcomes.

Your client is your client.

We don't pitch your clients. We don't connect with them on LinkedIn. We don't keep their contact info after a project ends. We never appear in front of them, not in emails, not in files, not in admin notifications, not anywhere. Ever. This isn't a policy we enforce. It's the reason agencies can sleep at night when they hand us their book.

Where we're based

DevHush is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Our partner agencies are based in the US, UK, EU, Canda and Australia, and Canada. We’ve worked with teams in 14 countries across four continents.

This is worth saying out loud, because for some agencies, “offshore development” carries a baggage that has nothing to do with our actual work, bad communication, junior skill levels, unpredictable delivery, time zone struggles. We understand that hesitation. The people who built that reputation earned it.

But we're not them. Here's how we're different:
Senior-only hiring. Minimum 5 years of agency-grade WordPress experience to join our team. No junior tier.
Communication tested before code. Every team member is screened on written and verbal English clarity before their technical skills are evaluated.
Async-first. We don't ask agencies to adapt to our timezone. We operate async-first, with overlap windows for live calls when needed. Most communication happens in your project tool, on your schedule.
Western agency clients only. We don't take direct-to-business work or projects below a certain threshold. Our entire operating model is tuned to how Western digital agencies actually run.
A founder who responds personally. I read every inquiry that comes in. If something goes wrong on a project, you get me on the phone, not a customer service queue.

If you’ve worked with offshore teams before and been burned, that makes us uneasier to choose, not easier. We know that. The trial week exists for exactly that reason you don’t take our word for it. You test the work, then decide.

What we're not

Defining who you are starts with being clear about who you aren’t. A few categories DevHush doesn’t fit into:

We’re not a freelancer marketplace. You don’t pick a developer from a roster. You get a dedicated team. PM included.

We’re not an unlimited-design subscription. We don’t do graphic design, social media graphics, or general “unlimited creative.” We do WordPress, deeply.

We’re not a generalist agency. We don’t do native mobile apps, custom SaaS development, or machine learning projects. WordPress. That’s the lane.

We’re not for direct-to-business clients. We work with digital agencies, branding studios, and SaaS consultants exclusively. If you’re a small business owner looking for a website, we’re not the right fit, but we can recommend
agencies in our network who are.

We’re not the cheapest option. We’re priced to replace the in-house dev team you haven’t hired, not to compete with $20/hour Fiverr sellers. If price is the
deciding factor, we’re not the right partner.

We’re not a thought leadership brand. You won’t see us writing 5,000-word think pieces about “the future of WordPress.” We’re operators, not pundits. We ship, then we ship more.
