About The Project

Scott Sutton wanted improvements and optimizations for the Somerville YMCA website to create a smoother and more user-friendly experience for visitors while maintaining the organization’s strong community identity.
The primary goal was to redesign and optimize several key website pages while resolving multiple frontend issues, improving responsiveness, enhancing overall layout consistency, and increasing website performance.
The platform needed to clearly showcase YMCA programs, schedules, community events, donation opportunities, youth activities, memberships, and nonprofit initiatives in an organized and visually engaging format.
The project also required fully responsive layouts optimized for smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktop devices to ensure community members could easily browse information and engage with the organization from any device.
The website needed to maintain strong responsiveness, SEO visibility, and fast loading performance while supporting image-rich layouts, event-focused sections, and nonprofit storytelling content.
DevHush handled the website redesign improvements, responsive optimization, frontend fixes, SEO enhancements, and performance improvements throughout the project.
